Trip Introduction

Pokhara is its center place of remarkable natural beauty for adventure activities. An enchanting city nestled in a tranquil valley, it is the starting point for many of Nepal's most popular trekking and rafting destinations. The atmosphere on the shore of Phewa Lake is one of excited vitality as hipster backpackers crowd the many bars and restaurants exchanging recommendations on guest houses and viewpoints, both by the lake and above the clouds.

Thank you for the courtesy provided and services during our trip to Nepal.

It was a pleasant trip in totality. Bit delay in mountain flight but was not in hand, otherwise we enjoyed mountain flight the most. Even our stay at Fulbari and Yak and Yeti Hotel was good experience.

Surely will let u know if any future plans be there.

We just wanted to say that we had a fabulous time in Nepal and we very pleased with the service we were offered. We must admit that when we booked the tour we weren't sure what to expect but you didn't let us down.

Good hotels and guides and considering we had 6 days only, we did a lot which was great. All the best for the future and I will recommend your service to friends.

My first sight of Nepal was Everest - after coming in late that night and going straight to sleep, I got up very early to catch the morning flight over Everest with Buddah Air. The planes were gorgeously vintage and the Himalayan views were stunning - they looked like frozen meraingue ontop of the world. That afternoon, I was shown around Kathmandu by Surendra Lohani, tour guide and tea expert arranged by Friendship Nepal Tours. Surendra was quite the dapper gentleman in a suit and umbrella and answered all of my questions on Nepal's history and culture fluently. He showed me the kumari house where the living Godess lives, he pointed out the counterfit sadhus in Durbar Square and took me to Hindu and Buddhist temples and finished at Patan at the amazing museum. He also took me to Little Tibet, which I really loved. From Kathmandu, Friendship Nepal Tours arranged for me to fly to Pokhara where I also had a great time - eating delicious food, enjoying the mountain scenery, going boating on the lake and even on a three hour pony trek around Lake Fewa, which I very much enjoyed. My hotels were well selected - clean and spacious. Friendship Nepal Tours arranged everything for me - transfers between the airport and hotel, hotels, activites and guides.

I had a really great time in Nepal - thank you.

I have been to over 15 different countries, and let me tell you Nepal with Friendship Tours and Travels blew everything out of the water. This company is professional, reliable, and the service is excellent. Roka responded to my emails promptly and was very accommodating. He quickly and easily arranged a custom tour for me based on what I wanted to see. The driver, Bashu Poudel, was excellent. He is a very skilled driver. I really appreciate him taking me everywhere with safety as a priority. He is very kind, professional, and great company. I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I was with him and how thankful I am that I had the opportunity to meet him and that he was my driver. The Kathmandu guide, Ramesh Koirala (Sasha), was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and honestly the best tour guide I have ever had. The tour guides in other sites were fantastic as well. Every hotel the company put me in was excellent, among the best I have ever stayed at with excellent service, staff, food, and cleanliness. Apsara Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu, Peaceful Cottage in Nagarkot, Buddha Maya Garden in Lumbini, and The Kantipur Hotel in Pokhara all were among the best hotels I have stayed at in the world. I highly recommend this company!!!

Thanks to Roka and his team, we had an AMAZING Nepal experience! Where do I begin to sing praises about this tour group? We visited Nepal for 13 days and wanted only to tour for 9. I contacted Friendship Nepal Tours and Roka worked diligently with me to meet my request. We had excellent accommodation and those that he did suggest, I checked on TripAdvisor and from that, requested that a couple of the hotels be changed, which he did. My husband was sick the second day of the tour (we had been so very, very careful!!) but Roka took it in stride and changed our plans around so hubby could rest. Our guide, Ramesh, for Kathmandu was extremely knowledgable of the legends, history and religious beliefs. Our driver was Mohan and was excellent. Many of the roads are in deplorable condition and driving is unlike anything I have ever experienced in all of my traveling days but I felt completely safe with Mohan at the wheel. Unfortunately, the last day of our trip, I fell and cut my head real badly. Ramesh and Mohan were so very helpful and attentive. We tried to send them home from the hospital as it was getting late but they insisted on staying. They were both a huge help and comfort....I was fine..needed two stitches and fortunately no concussion or broken bones! From Kathmandu, Mohan drove us to Chitwan Jungle area.

All arrangements for the hotel, meals and guide were arranged by Friendship Nepal Tours and our time there went smoothly. From Chitwan, Mohan drove us to Pokhara where an overnight hike to the Australian Camp had been arranged, as well as a tour of Pokhara. Our guide was Rams and again, he was top-notch. Rams helped arrange a helicopter tour to Annapurna Base camp, that proved to be the highlight of our trip. If you are looking for an A-1 tour group to help you explore Nepal, look no further...this is the one for you!

Just returned from a 11 day private tour of Nepal, visiting Kathmandu, Nagarkot, Chitwan, Lumbini and Pokhara. The tour was very well organised, good communication and Roka was patiently waiting when we arrived at the airport despite us taking some 3 hours to get our visa. I honestly cant think of much, if anything I would change. Perhaps being picky the hotel in Lumbini was not great, but to be honest I dont think there was much out there that was any better and certainly wasnt the fault of Friendship tours. Would not hesitate to book again.

This was one of our best trips ever! The guides and drivers were exceptional. Our interests are plants and animals. Our guide and driver customized our trip and went far out of their way to be helpful. The Eco Hotel in Kathmandu upgraded us to a suite when we came back before our departure home. The hotel staff in Kathmandu went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The view from our hotel in Bandipur, Nepal was breathtaking and world class.

When you see the Himalayas reflected in Fewa Lake in Pokara, you have seen one of the most beautiful sights in the world. The monasteries in Bhutan were stunning, especially Tiger's Nest. The guide and driver in Bhutan were very well educated and knowledgeable. The guide in Chitwan took us to see baby elephants, on an elephant ride and a boat trip with numerous bird sightings. There were excellent vegetarian choices in the hotel in Chitwan. Thank you to Friendship Tours for a GREAT TRIP!

We really had a great time in Nepal having selected the correct travel agent and also the people of Nepal who are so friendly and gentle and nice. And not forgetting the fanstastic scenery and also the mountains that was really awesome which I am sure we will not be able to see from our country.

We look forward to having another trip to Nepal again in the near future.

Once again, thanks for the great arrangement during our trip and till then, do keep in touch and take care.

Cheers

THEY DID EVERYTHING FOR US

From the time I emailed them until we left they were always good about communicating. They tailored a trip to exactly what we wanted. They even contacted us after the trip to make sure that we were happy with how everything went.

The only hiccup was we went specifically during Holi week because we wanted the full immersion of the culture and on Holi day everything was closed so we paid for a day but did not really get to do much. But our driver/guide was Buddhist instead of Hindu so he took us around for a few hours and then we were on our own the rest of that day.

But otherwise Nepal was the most amazing experience ever and this tour company helped make it that way.
