Day 01: Bangkok -Samut Songkhram - Amphawan
In the morning you have free time at leisure to relax or book an optional city tour in Bangkok. Around 1 pm you will be picked up from your hotel and proceed towards Samut Songkhram. En Route you will stop at Wat Bang Kung, which dates back to the Ayuthaya period. Many kinds of trees are growing on the grounds, one even covering part of the temple. Further you have the option to see Ban Maew Thai which is a must for every cat lover since it displays the history of Thai cats and information about the number of breeds. Afterwards you will drive to Wat Amphawan Jetiyaram with its beautiful paintings. As the sun is setting, it is time to enjoy the major attraction on this trip - Ampawan Floating Market. Here, you can still witness the traditional atmosphere of a floating market on weekend evenings. You have enough time to experience this unique market with all your senses and try some of the exotic dishes for dinner such as the Mae Klong Mackerel which is a big favorite on the river or the coconut sugar as little dessert.  ( Boat Rental around Floating Market is excluded).  Afterwards you will be transferred to the beautiful.  Baan Ampawa Resort & Spa for overnight.

 

Day 02: Amphawan - Bangkok
The next morning you can choose to see the production of the famous Benjarong Porcelain
Factory or relax at a nice orchid farm (optional tours). Then you continue to King Rama II Memorial Park. King Rama II is famous for his deeds in the preservation of Thai art and culture. He was named one of the most important persons in the world by the UNESCO. Visit and relax in the park with its many antiques and beautiful flowers. Afterwards return to the booked hotel in Bangkok or to the airport.
