Nepal's first and the only bungee jumping site is located of three hours' drive from Kathmandu and close to the Nepal-Tibet border. This measures 160m over the wild Bhote Koshi river. The jump, at 160m, was designed by one New Zealand's bungee consultant, and is operated by some of the most experienced jump masters in the business. One can be injured during a jump only if the safety harness fails, the cord elasticity is miscalculated, or the cord is not properly connected to the jump platform. They take every possible precaution very seriously to prevent the human loss. Their safety is the main concern.
